Tonight, on The History Network...

In 1915, a prospector visiting Death Valley in California observed a unique phenomenon: large stones which seem to move around the playa of their own free will, untouched by any living thing, one of the decade's edgiest occurences. Or so it seemed. Now, internet activists and one man's research challenge long-held assumptions, and may just rewrite the story of the sailing stones of Racetrack Playa forever.
